Privacy Policy
How Aura Content Studios collects, uses and protects your personal data.
Last updated 18 August 2026
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Aura Content Studios Ltd (company number 17030179), trading as Aura Content Studios, of Suite 2a, Unit 4 Pavilion Business Park, Leeds LS12 6AJ. For the purposes of UK data protection law, we are the "data controller" of the personal data described below.
You can contact us about anything in this policy at auracontentstudios@gmail.com.
2. What data we collect
We collect personal data in two main ways:
- When you book a session, via our booking partner Cal.com — typically your name, email address, phone number, session details, and payment information.
- When you contact us directly by email — whatever details you choose to include in that message.
3. How we use your data
- To process, confirm and manage your studio booking.
- To communicate with you about your booking, including reminders, changes or cancellations.
- To respond to enquiries sent to us by email.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations, such as keeping financial records.
- Where we introduce analytics in future, to understand how visitors use this website — see our Cookie Policy for details.
We process this data on the basis that it's necessary to perform our contract with you (fulfilling a booking), to comply with a legal obligation, or because we have a legitimate interest in running our business and responding to enquiries.
4. Booking & payment via Cal.com
Bookings and payment are handled by our booking partner, Cal.com, not directly by us. When you book a session, Cal.com collects and processes your booking and payment details — including card details — on our behalf, using its own payment processor. We never see or store your full card details ourselves.
Cal.com is a US-based service, so your data may be processed outside the UK. Where that happens, appropriate legal safeguards apply. We'd encourage you to review Cal.com's own privacy policy for details of how it handles your data.
5. Who we share your data with
- Cal.com and its payment processor, to take and manage bookings and payment.
- Professional advisers (e.g. our accountant), where necessary to run our business.
- Regulators or authorities, where we're required to by law.
We don't sell your personal data to anyone.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep booking and enquiry data for as long as needed to fulfil your booking and to meet our legal and accounting obligations (typically up to six years for financial records), after which it's deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Ask us to delete your data, where applicable.
- Ask us to restrict or object to certain processing.
- Ask for your data to be provided in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address above. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator.
8. Children
This website and our services are not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example as our booking process or services change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
